I am incredibly grateful to Benjamin Perez for commissioning "Lux Semitae (Light the Paths)" for his 2020 high school senior percussion class. Even though his students weren't able to premiere the work last year due to COVID-19, Benjamin committed to premiering this work and sharing it with them as a way of showing his appreciation for their efforts throughout their high school percussion careers.
