Dr. Marco Schirripa, percussion faculty at Tennessee Tech, will be giving a faculty recital today that features my multiple percussion and speaking solo, “Familiar.” Schirripa was part of the original consortium to commission this work. Other composers featured include Osnat Netzer, Joanne Metcalf, Libby Larsen, Vera Stanojevic, and Kimberly Osberg.
