• ALBUM •

Five years after the first email inquiry was sent, I am elated to announce that on April 10th, I will be releasing a solo album, 'Caustics', consisting of eight new works for drum set & electronics that I commissioned from some of my bestest composer friends! Ian Chang of Son Lux, Robert Honstein, Molly Joyce, Alexis C. Lamb, Anna Meadors, Alicia Walter, and Ted Babcock each contributed pieces that are fresh and genre-defying, and feel like perfectly natural extensions of my personal identity as a musician. I have grown so much over the past few years throughout the development of these pieces with each composer, and cannot wait for the works to finally be out in the world, both in recorded form on the album and as scores/performance materials available for other fellow drummers to play.

• SHOW •

To celebrate the album's release, I'll be performing all of the pieces live a week later on April 17th at The Rotunda in Philadelphia, presented by Bowerbird Concerts-Philly and FREE for all to attend! Ticket information coming soon.

In the spirit of celebration, I am also thrilled to share that Vic Firth is now premiering my video of Robert Honstein's work from the album, "Everything Now Right Now", a raucous and bombastic borderline-prog-metal track that could not be more fun to play. Link to that full video, as well as their former premiere of Alexis C. Lamb's piece "Post-Lightened", in the comments!
